INTERNAL SALES STAFF
Intelligent Display Solutions Ltd. is a small yet rapidly growing company specialising in the design in and supply of LCD Displays and LED Lighting Components. In our 11th year of trading we are looking to recruit 2 further staff:-
THE ROLE
We have 2 new vacancies based within our Thatcham office for Internal Sales Staff who will be responsible for providing support to our External Sales Force and being responsible for generating quotes to new and existing customers. You will help us to find and develop new customers and opportunities and help our company grow in line with our companies short and long term objectives. You will be expected to build relationships with suppliers and help form marketing strategies. One of the successful candidates is likely to focus on our LCD side of the business and the other will focus on the LED division. Although most of the time will be spent in our HQ in Thatcham, occasional travel within the UK and other Countries may be required.
As an Internal Sales Person:
- You will be working closely with the Sales Team to increase sales
- You will be responsible for generating leads and building rapport
- You will be compiling quotes and negotiating orders
- Reporting to the Sales Administration Manager you will achieve agreed sales and other objectives
- You will play an active role in building commercial relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers
- You will rapidly become key members of the IDS organisation and will be given additional roles over time to develop new sales and marketing focus for the company and help you develop your own skills
- You will become well versed in other internal activities and be able to deputise when other people are unavailable to do their own jobs
- As you become more experienced you will be expected to visit customers and suppliers with other staff and then on your own
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Internal Sales Person will have:
- Experience within a commercial work environment
- Good organisational skills
- A high degree of literacy and numeracy
- A very good level of computer skills with high levels of Microsoft Office knowledge
- A willingness to learn new skills quickly and use them to further both the advancement of yourself and the company
- A logical brain and a significant amount of common sense
- Some sales experience or a desire to move into a sales environment
- A high degree of enthusiasm, a good sense of humour and will be of an extrovert and self confident nature
